McDantim, Inc. announces the Beer Check (Printable Version)

A Revolutionary Gas Analyzer

Remarkable Tool: We are excited about the Beer Check because of its exceptional features. The Beer Check is a hand-held gas analyzer that accurately measures several combinations of gases and offers an optional Leak Sensor, all for a very reasonable price.

The Beer Check can analyze:
CO2 in N2 — Use to check mixed gas blends used in brewing and dispense.
CO2 in Air — Use for Brewers who purge kegs and tanks with CO2.
O2 in N2 — Use to check nitrogen generators and for purging kegs or tanks with nitrogen.
Leak Sensor — The Beer Check is the only electronic Leak Sensor we have heard of that detects nitrogen leaks. In 12 years of working with analyzers, we have never seen anything like it.

Years of development: O2 Technologies, the manufacturer, invested years perfecting this technology before approaching the beer industry. They listened to suggestions from McDantim, Inc. and improved it further. Finally, the Beer Check is ready for distribution.

Great Price: Other portable electronic CO2 analyzers sell for at least $1,000. The Manufacturer’s suggested retail is only $795 for the analyzer or $950 with the Leak Sensor accessory. McDantim's price for the Beer Check basic analyzer (McDantim Part # MV020) is $695. The Beer Check with the Leak Sensor (McDantim Part # MV022) is $830. Our prices include a custom adaptor that allows easy connection to a standard beer nut and controls the flow of gas to the analyzer. This exceptional tool can save $ in service calls, help with sales calls and save you time in the field.

MV020 — the Beer Check with adaptor kit for $695
MV022 — the Beer Check with adaptor kit and the Leak Sensor for $830.

Beer Check Specifications

Functions
CO2 in N2 — Analyzes the percentage of CO2 in nitrogen.
This is used to check the accuracy of blenders and premixed cylinders used for beer dispense and brewing.
CO2 in Air — Analyzes the percentage of CO2 in air.
Brewers who purge kegs and tanks with CO2 use this function. It can be used to check the accuracy of Air/CO2 blends used (incorrectly, we know) for beer dispense.
O2 in N2 — Analyzes the oxygen percentage in nitrogen.
This function is to check the efficiency of nitrogen generators and the purity of nitrogen supplies. Brewers who purge kegs and tanks with nitrogen can also use it.
Leak Sensor — This function uses a sensing wand to “listen” for leaks. The unique feature of the Beer Check Leak Sensor is it can sense any gas. Most electronic leak check units can only sense specific gases like CO2 and refrigerants.

Accuracy
CO2 in N2 ± 1.0%. McDantim testing has shown the Beer Check to be very accurate and consistent in this mode when used according to instructions.
CO2 in Air ± 1.0%.
O2 in N2 ± 0.5%. Please note this will serve as an indicator only, when used with most N2 generator systems. Most systems today are intended to be 99.8% pure N2 and that is beyond the accuracy of the Beer Check. The accuracy required to evaluate these devices properly is + 0.1% and will cost more than 3X the Beer Check.
Leak Sensor Locate leaks down to .2 scfh or less. There are more sensitive electronic leak sensing devices available but only the Beer Check Leak Sensor will check gases like nitrogen, which is a terrific advantage.
